The Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Vladimir region took a procedural decision to cancel a preventive measure in the form of detention, chosen for Dmitry Semenov suspected in the murder of a minor, Bogdan Prahov.

This decision was dictated by the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code - measure of restraint, chosen for the suspect, against whom charges have not been brought within 10 days after the detention, is subjected to cancellation.

At the same time the investigators established the involvement of Semenov in another mercenary and violent crime, he had committed earlier in Vladimir. This type of crime is within the jurisdiction of internal affairs bodies, which will take appropriate procedural decisions against Semenov.
