During investigation of a case over mass riots investigations checking information that Sergey Udaltsov might have used the cell phone belonging to Deputy Ilya Ponomaryov

As part of investigation of a criminal case over mass riots on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow and plotting mass riots in a number of other regions of Russia under which Sergey Udaltsov is charged with a crime under part 1 of article 30, part 1 of article 212 of the RF Criminal Code (plotting mass riots), the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has got information that Sergey Udaltsov used a SIM-card issued by the State Duma Affairs Directorate to the Deputy Ilya Ponomaryov.

The information is being checked by investigators. They have already got the answer from the State Duma that the SIM-card of so called special communication was indeed given to Ilya Ponomaryov. The SIM-card cannot be used by the third party, which means that it cannot be given to other persons. Udaltsov was questioned on it. He refused to answer any questions as of the time during which he had been using this number; person, who had given him the SIM-card; whether he had known that the number was registered in the State Duma; had he used the number while committing the crimes he was charged with; referring to article 51 of the RF Constitution.
