Russia’s Investigative Committee launches procedural check into death of a Russian three-year-old boy adopted by American family

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a procedural check in connection with media reports on another fact of death of a Russian three-year-old boy adopted by American family happened in January 2013.

As part of the check investigators have requested information and files from the RF Foreign Ministry, from Children’s Ombudsman Pavel Astakhov. After the files have been studied and more accurate qualification of the deed, the question whether to launch criminal proceedings will be decided.
