In Saint-Petersburg suspects of killing Coca-Cola factory director caught on hot scent

Saint-Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues an investigation in the murder of director of a Coca-Cola factory Dmitry Soshnev (part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

As a result of investigative and search operations performed on a high professional level, investigators in cooperation with officers of the regional Main Office of the Russian Ministry of Interior have caught on hot scent Denis Chkhitauri, an Azerbaijani national, 28 and Vyacheslav Finogenov, 46, who was earlier convicted of murder.

According to investigators, on 28 November 2014, Chkhitauri and Finogenov appointed to meet with Soshnev near the garages in Frunzensky block. There Finogenov killed the man using an improvised gun. Then the suspects got hold of Soshnev’s money – about 150 thousand rubles, and documents for his BMW car, which they wanted to sell for 1 million rubles.

By now based on the evidence given by the suspects investigators have found the businessman’s body. The accomplices will soon be taken to custody and charged.
