A Memorandum on Cooperation between the Russia’s Investigative Committee and Italian National Anti-mafia Office with the participation of the Prosecutor’s General Office of the Supreme Court of Review has been signed today during the working visit of Alexander Bastrykin, the Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the city of Rome.

The Memorandum provides for extended mutually beneficial international legal cooperation between the Russia’s Investigative Committee and Italian Anti-mafia Office in fighting against organized crime.

The Memorandum has provisions for extensive capabilities in exchanging experience and information on the crimes committed by groups or individuals in the Russian Federation or Italy, providing assistance in investigations, consultations and training of employees of both sides.
