Tver Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are investigating a criminal case opened in a crime under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 of the RF Penal Code (sexual assault committed against a person under 14 years of age).

As a result of well-planned and efficient investigative and search operations he police have managed to detain a 59-year-old resident of Moscow on suspicion of the crime.

According to investigators, in November 2014, an electronic data carrier containing pictures and videos involving the 59-year-old man and underage girls was discovered in a flat in the town of Konakovo, Tver Region. The data on the said carrier suggests that the man committed several sex crimes in different regions of Russia and Belorussia.

At present investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crimes and identify the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
