Cadet school gets new banner

A ceremony of granting a new banner to Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Nevsky Cadet School took place on 20 February 2015.

The ceremony was attended by: Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Colonel General of Justice Alexander I. Bastrykin, Chairman of regional NGO Union of Investigation Veterans Vladimir Dontsov, Deputy Prefect of Southeastern Administrative District of Moscow Alexander Naydanov, Archpriests of Southern Administrative District of Moscow fathers Anatoly and Oleg, teachers and cadets of the cadet school, cadet’s relatives and high guests.

Mr. Bastrykin granted Director of the Cadent School Colonel of Justice I.V. Zaporozhan the new banner and congratulated all the present on the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Addressing the cadets, Mr. Bastrykin said that “The banner of the cadet school is a very honorable symbol distinguishing design, history and services of the school and pointing to its belonging to the Russia’s Investigative Committee. I deem it deeply symbolic and significant that the ceremony of giving the banner is taking place on the eve of the Defender of the Fatherland Day. I see succession of legendary traditions in it. And in the first place the tradition to win, to win not only military battles, but to win science, sports and studies”.

Archpriests of Southern Administrative District of Moscow fathers Anatoly and Oleg sanctified the banner.

The ceremony was finished with a solemn march of the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School cadets.
