A court has recognized the evidence gathered by the Volgograd Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee sufficient to convict head of Oblgosekspertiza, state autonomous institution of Volgograd Region, Vyacheslav Nikolsky.

The court and investigators have revealed that in May 2012, the defendant employed two people as deputy head of the department for special section examination and leading specialist of the general department. But in fact, the said people did not do any work except for receiving wages up to August 2013.

Nikolsky’s felonious actions caused the institution damage of over 2 million 800 thousand rubles.

During preliminary investigation the defendant partially admitted his guilt and compensated about 200 thousand of damage.

The court gave him a suspended sentence of 2 years.
