The Voronezh Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigation in a crime under paragraphs “a” and “c” of part 2 of article 163 of the RF Penal Code (extortion by a group of people in previous conspiracy using violence) committed against head of the Department of housing and communal services and energy of Voronezh Region.

Based on the records provided by the Voronezh Region Office of the Federal Security Service the investigators have opened an investigation in a crime under part 2 of article 162 of the RF Penal Code (robbery).

According to investigators, on 29 May 2015, the perpetrators stole 100 thousand rubles from the head of the Department of housing and communal services and energy of Voronezh Region in the woods neat Southwestern cemetery and fled.

The said investigations have been joined in a single proceeding. The suspects were charged with crimes under paragraphs “a” and “c” of part 2 of article 163 and part 2 of article 162.

At present necessary investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime, collect and consolidate the evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
