The Novosibirsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal case against former CEO of OOO Beta-Tur (LLC) over a crime under part 3 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code (fraud on a large scale).

According to investigators in August and September 2014, CEO of the firm signed agreements with 12 citizens under which she undertook to provide a set of travel services and received between 40 and 140 thousand rubles, in all, over 713 thousand rubles. However, the CEO did not book the services or implement the agreements, but escaped with the money and registered the firm on the name of other person.

At present the investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
